Stop by Re-Reads for the Buck-A-Bag sale Thursday, and Friday, from 1:30 to 5:00 PM and regular hours 10 AM - 5 PM on Saturday!
Buy a bag for $1 and fill it up with your heart’s desire! Re-Reads is preparing for the big move into the new library and needs your help to make it lighter! All proceeds benefit the Alpine Public Library.



Banned Books Week kicked off this past Saturday, September 24th and runs through October 1. Come check out our “It’s a Crime to Ban Books!” display at the Alpine Public Library.
The Library Leadership Development Institute Grow our Own Area Librarians program is currently taking applications for Librarians in Training to work with a local library mentor. This is a reimbursement scholarship program funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services. The Alpine Public Library’s research opportunity is to research and plan a library program to assist patrons searching for jobs online. Please visit the library at 203 N 7th Street in Alpine to pick up your application. The deadline is Sept. 30, 2011

The sale is Thursday, 22nd through Saturday, 24th, 10 AM - 5 PM.
Fill up your bag with great reads & help your favorite used book store prepare for their big move!
Pajama Story Time will be held September 24, at 7pm, in the Children’s Room. Enjoy a funny puppet show, hear stories about autumn, make a fuzzy owl craft project, and look at a mulberry leaf under a microscope. This program is free and will last about and hour.
